
Eric Blasen
Founder and Principal Blasen Landscape Architecture / Marin County
Eric Blasen, ASLA, studied art history at the University of London, England, received his Bachelor of Science in Geography from Oregon State University and his Masters of Landscape Architecture from University of Massachusetts, Amherst. He first explored practical design by making furniture and won his first design award for it. In 1993, he cofounded Blasen Landscape Architecture, a design studio, in San Anselmo, California. Since then he has created landscapes for places of worship, schools, corporate offices, and wineries, but his main focus is large residential gardens, for which it has garnered top American landscape architecture awards. Eric Blasen has taught in the Architecture Department at California College of Art, San Francisco, California, and served on many academic juries.

Barbara Chambers
Founder of Chambers + Chambers Architecture / Marin County
Established in 1996, Chambers + Chambers has completed multiple custom homes in California, as well as other parts of the United States. Sophisticated and noteworthy, her work has been featured in House and Garden, Veranda, House Beautiful, Remodelista, SPACES Magazine, Luxe Interiors and Design, California Homes, Town & Country and many other articles and books. Barbara received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design and Painting, with honors and later completed her Master of Architecture degree at the University of Colorado. She finds design inspiration through her passion for and love of antiques, sculpture, classical gardens, art and travel.

Jon de la Cruz
Founder & Principal, De la Cruz Interior Design (DLC-ID) / San Francisco Bay Area
Jon de la Cruz founded his eponymous residential and hospitality studio, DLC-ID, in 2015 after nearly a decade as Design Director for Ken Fulk. A native of San Francisco, the Filipino-American designer holds a BFA in Architecture + Design from Academy of Art University. The aesthetic Jon is known for blends timeless, classical structures with curated vintage objects and modern bespoke elements. His spaces — from private homes to leading restaurants, including Wayfare Tavern, in the Bay Area — are described as vibrant, layered, and functionally thoughtful. Notable projects include 2017 House Beautiful Kitchen of the Year, hospitality projects like Protege and Che Fico. Geoffrey de Sousa

Geoffrey de Sousa brings over two decades of experience designing poetic, elevated interiors that blend craftsmanship, materiality, and art into refined architectural narratives. Based in San Francisco, his studio works across residential and commercial projects — from renovating historic estates to collaborating with international architects on new builds. As co-founder and creative director at De Sousa Hughes, Geoffrey curates bespoke furnishings (textiles, furniture, lighting) in close partnership with artisans around the globe. His work has appeared in Architectural Digest, Galerie, and The New York Times. He also serves in advisory roles across San Francisco’s design and philanthropic communities.

Cristof Eigelberger
Founder & Principal Architect, Eigelberger Architecture & Design / Basalt, CO, San Francisco Bay Area
Cristof Eigelberger is the founding principal and CEO of Eigelberger Architecture & Design (EAD), licensed in California, Florida, and Colorado, with reciprocity across all 50 U.S. states. Prior to launching EAD in 2015, he spent 15 years at Backen, Gillam & Koeger, contributing to high-profile residential, resort, and winery projects nationally and internationally. His architecture is rooted in site context, materiality, and light— favoring organic finishes and landscape integration. Notable projects include Rivers Edge Residence (Aspen), Roaring Fork Ranch (Woody Creek), and Bodega Garzón Winery (Uruguay). Heather Hartle

Ansley Majit

Lucy McCormick
Principal, FF&E Design-Eigelberger Architecture & Design / Aspen, LA, Miami, San Francisco
Originally from the UK, Lucy began her career in the United States in commercial real estate, where she gained invaluable experience in business development, marketing, and sales management while representing leading property developers in Washington, D.C. Her passion for design led her to London’s KLC School of Design, after which she joined Spence Harris Hogan, a prominent architecture and interiors firm in London’s West End. There, she honed her expertise in hospitality and high-end residential design before returning to the U.S., establishing herself in San Francisco. Over the past 15 years, Lucy has collaborated closely with Cristof Eigelberger, both within the firm and as an independent creative partner. Today, as Principal of FF&E at Eigelberger Architecture & Design, she leads the interiors division, blending her international perspective with a deep understanding of lifestyle-driven design to usher the practice into an exciting new chapter.

Kathryn Soter

Kathryn Soter serves as Executive Director of the Good Future Design Alliance (GFDA), guiding a coalition of professionals committed to reducing waste in the built environment through education, tools, and advocacy. Kathryn earned her BA from Lewis & Clark College and transitioned from marketing media leadership at Condé Nast into driving sustainable transformation in design and construction industries. Kathryn is a sought-after moderator and speaker, sharing expertise at events such as Pacific Design Center panels, AIA SF Climate Tech Conference, and nationally recognized sustainability summits — as an advocate for industry-wide adoption of low-waste protocols. She spearheads GFDA programming and educational initiatives in low-waste and circular design and regularly moderates panels at high-profile industry events.
